Manabloc plumbing system- how to turn off/turn on?

  • I have manabloc plumbing system and wondering how do I turn off water and turn it back on the specific water line? And is there anything I should be careful of? Would it be better to turn off water using manabloc or just use main switch if I want to do work on kitchen sink/etc?



  • No problem shutting off just one zone in a Manabloc system. Just uses the attached t-handle, it only takes a 1/4 turn just be sure to shut off both hot and cold valves.

    Edit:
    Since you don't have a t-handle (key) I would turn the water off to the whole house while doing repairs until you can get one. The manabloc valves are plastic and using anything else may damage the valve. Here is a link where you can get a key, but there may be plumbing supply houses that have them locally. Good luck.
