Kindly post your DNS servers .
March 12th, 2010Well guys..
I sometimes find that My ISPs dns forwarder stop working and I need some other dns server so can you give me dns servers of your ISP ?
like mTNL, bsnl, reliance, tataindi etc, whoes dns server uses public ips .
To know what are your dns server on your computer ::
In Linux
Open your /etc/resolv.conf and post the ip, host name here
Win98
Open "RUN" and type "winipcfg" and it will list dns server available.
WinXP
Open command promtp and type "ipconfig /all" and see the dns servers for your internet connection.
For Apple Mac
No experience about it yet.
nameserver 202.144.50.4
nameserver 202.144.115.4
------
DNS Server
203.145.184.13
202.56.250.5
They start with the range 4.2.2.x
i.e 4.2.2.1,4.2.2.2......
As the name suggests "Open" meaning open for public to use freely without any problems.
Meanwhile I also found something similar ie public nameservers :)
BTW.,. I found that all these ISP's have blocked those server only for thier customer use.
But I think bsnl and reliance has not done.
