they placed me as a cashier and i was terrible at it. Im not at all familiar with the menu and this makes it so much worse. Is it normal to be pretty bad the first day? Any tips on how to get better?u work at JITB... how hard of a job can it actually be? the first day is always the hardest cause u just dont have the experience... my advice would be to get the hell out of there and find urself a more fulfilling job... SERIOUSLY!It just takes practice : )
I bet you were super frustrated at how challenging it was?
lol everyone has to start and learn from somewhere and
don't worry. You'll get better at it over time. Maybe working
on your ten-key can help you with your register skills.
Good luck ; )its normal to be horrible the first couple of WEEKS, dont worry about it and everyone who works with you has been through that time too so dont be shy to ask them for help
good luck!Dude
Wait till they put you in the COMMUNICATIONS department. (ON THE SPEAKER) ya want fries wit dat..If you're familiar with Jack in the box's menu on your first day working there, that would be scary.. lol, nobody should be that familiar with Jack in the box.
lol, you're fine. First days are generally pretty confusing.YES its totally normal. I hear ya, I was AWFUL my first day (actually, my first week or so) at Quiznos. Don't worry about it, it just takes some getting used to. Ideas for improvement: ask a co-worker to show you the ropes during break or lunch, or briefly before/after work. Copy down the buttons of the register on a piece of paper and you can "study" it at home to improve your speed with that. But in general, don't go overboard trying to improve because you'll naturally get better at it with time.
You're fine! Good luck :)#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
